DRINKING NOTES

Our aim with Gypsy was to produce a pear cider with the broadest appeal. This drove us to craft a semi-sweet, medium acid cider with moderately high carbonation levels. Gypsy is made from Packham and Williams fruit varieties from Central Victoria. Roughly 2.5 pears go into each bottle.

Pear cider tends to be lower in acid (tartness) when compared to apple cider. It also has a fullness on the pallate due to its high content of complex fruit sugars including fructose, both of these attributes result in a more rounded flavour impression.

Unlike some of the European imported pear ciders, Gypsy does not contain fruit flavouring additives or extracts like vanilla.

DRINKING NOTES

Little Apple has a crisp mouthfeel with a lingering apple character – striking a balance between sweetness and moderate acidity. This makes Little Apple a perfect year round cider.

This semi-sweet cider is made using fruit from Central Victoria and is not back sweetened with any sugar or unfermented juice.
